Here I am, cramming my Christmas post and just about making it before Christmas eve. Haha. I just wanted to show you guys the Christmas-y things I've bought whilst I mazed through a huge crowd of people, waited in the long queues and tried to finish my Christmas shopping.
Also, I've answered the Christmas tag at the end to add more to the Christmas spirit. Because honestly, this year is the least Christmas-y I felt. I think I have said Christmas repeatedly too many times now. So let's crack on with the post and again, Happy Christmas!
The first item I bought was this tiny REAL Christmas tree. I decorated it with tiny baubles and fairy lights.
Of course, I had to have a Christmas-y candle. This one was from Muji called 'gold and myrrh' and it only cost £3.50. Bargain.
Fluffy socks! It's just so nice to feel warm and cosy as you lounge around the house preparing food and waiting for Christmas day.
I also bought the 'Peeping Santa' bubble bar and 'butter bear' bath bomb from Lush. I'm treating my self to a good bath.
Lastly, my Christmas jumper! I didn't buy this. This was actually a present from my mum. Thanks, mum.
Christmas tag:
1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
Alright, I realised one thing. I didn't grow up spending Christmas watching Christmas movies. I actually had a hard time thinking of a favourite. Haha. For the majority of my life spent in the Philippines, the whole family didn't really cosy up inside the house and watched movies. Instead, my cousins and I were out on the streets doing carols and asking people for money and playing or singing karaoke.
But I guess I love watching Harry Potter (in any season, really)
2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Christmas eve!!!
We have this thing called Noche Buena where we wait for 12 midnight to strike.
There is a feast and everyone stuffs themselves. Then we open gifts.
3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
My cousins and I out on the streets playing endlessly and taking a break to eat all the festive food
4. Favourite festive food?
mhhmm I think it would be roast with gravy and potatoes. POTATOES.
5. Favourite Christmas gift ?
The first bicycle I owned
6. Favourite Christmas scent?
I love the smell of food cooking, you just know the celebration is just starting.
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Like I said on question 2, we have a feast at 12 midnight and then open presents and no one sleeps. We actually celebrate more on Christmas eve, because on Christmas day we just eat the left over food haha.

8. What tops your tree?
A glittery gold star

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I can't think of any!! My family's Christmas wasn't really all about gifts. It's actually more about the food and gathering on the table to finish it. I actually can't remember desperately asking for anything. Haha!
10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
The whole family getting together, and everyone in a festive mood. Also, remembering the very reason why we celebrate it in the first place :)
